This is the one to try now! 

My daughter and I ventured to downtown Austin on this cold and rainy Saturday evening to check this place out.

To my delight, it was totally worth it. From the hostess to the server and helpers, the service was superb. 

The place is cozy and modernly decorated. It is great for a small group, romantic date or a solo diner. They have a full bar and specialty drinks that looked very interesting. 

I chose to order The Antidote, made with cazadores reposado tequila, cucumber, cayenne, lemon and activated charcoal maple. It was refreshing, served with a thin slice of passion fruit.

Guacamole is one of my favorite appetizers. We tried it here and their version has strawberries and it is served with cassava tortilla chips and gem lettuce. It was mild and delicious.

For the main course my daughter chose the Butternut Squash. This dish had cauliflower, mushrooms, nutritional yeast, coconut, arugula and pepita crumble. The presentation was beautiful. I tasted it and it was flavorful.

I ordered the Grass-Fed Texas Wagyu Tri-Tip and was very pleased. The steak was cooked perfectly with a soft pink center, and the vegetables were scrumptious. It had carrots, turnip, celeriac and a light beet barbecue sauce. 

Our plates were completely clean when we were done and we will definitely head back to The Well soon to try some of their other  options.
